Requirements

Be aware of these requirements related to Senate funding.

1. All organizations receiving funding must use Connect to take attendance at all of their funded events. No check requests will be approved without both receipts AND attendance data.

2. All events hosted using Student Senate appropriated funds must have the Funded by Student Senate logo included on all advertisements. Organizations that fail to include the logo may be ineligible for further Senate funding.

3. The Finance Committee shall allocate funding towards events that provide monetary compensation or advantage(s) to third parties (non-university affiliated groups or organizations) if and only if they are approved as a fundraising organization through the university president’s office.
