112th Senators
Senators are elected representatives who advocate for their constituents, participate in legislation and funding decisions, serve on committees, and work collaboratively to advance the interests of the student body.
School Senators
School Senators represent the students within their respective academic schools, advocate for their constituents’ concerns, and participate in legislation, funding decisions, and campus initiatives within the Student Senate.
Special Interest Senators
Special Interest Senators represent designated student populations or affinity groups within the SMU community, advocate for the unique needs and perspectives of those groups, and work to ensure their voices are included in Student Senate legislation, funding decisions, and campus initiatives.
